Business Analyst (ID#3796)

We are seeking a Business Analyst to help our client to replace their line of business applications with a new more efficient Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. The successful candidate must have experience working with software development teams using an agile like Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements
    • Working with project stakeholders, business architect, business process analyst, and application architect to develop Epics and to break Epics down into User Stories
    • Presentations for verification of User Stories to product owner
    • Incorporating feedback from product owner, users, and other stakeholders into User Stories
    • Researching new initiatives to timely and cost-effectively improve individual project processes
  • Conducting gap analysis
  • Identifying and documenting business rules and scenarios
  • Working with project manager to specify scope and roadmap of each individual project
  • Supporting the testing team and development teams by presenting User Stories in the context of the project and strategic goals
  • Developing user implementation documentation
  • Facilitating and conducting meetings with multiple groups while working on multiple issues at the same time to keep all necessary personnel apprised of progress and business findings for relevant projects
  • Independently planning, prioritizing, and coordinating complex and concurrent activities to meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a finance, social services or community health care environment
  • Experience as a project lead
  • Demonstration of advanced analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work with people at all levels of the organisation and to take the lead when required
  • Values relationships and helps strengthen the bond with partners with a high degree of trust, teamwork and mutual respect
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Extremely well-organised and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to take the initiative and to manage time in the most effective manner
  • A passion for excellence and innovation
  • Exercise sound judgment and make appropriate recommendations
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Business analyst experience in CRM Customer Relationship Management
    • Experience in post-system implementation and training support
    • Experience with business modelling in Sparx Enterprise Architect
