Data Governance Consultant (ID#4049)

We are seeking a Data Governance Consultant to help our client perform a gap analysis, provide recommendations, and develop a project plan to progress their Data Governance.

Responsibilities:

Gap Analysis Report and Recommendations:

  • Current maturity state assessment of the client’s data governance policies and practices
  • Documented roles and responsibilities of employees involved in data management
  • Comparison of current maturity state to desired maturity state and best practices
  • Identification of gaps, deficiencies, and areas for improvement
  • Recommendations for bridging the identified gaps, based on the current context

Project Plan and Key Performance Indicators:

  • Detailed project plan outlining priorities, objectives, milestones, and timelines
  • Project risks and mitigation strategies
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the program

Requirements:

  • Data Governance knowledge, skills and experience
  • Experience addressing the gaps between the current maturity state and the desired future maturity state of data governance
  • Experience defining project objectives, milestones, and deliverables, priorities, and project phases and timeline
  • Experience with a Gantt chart
  • Ability to determine which maturity model will be used to identify and compare current and target maturity states
  • Experience in recommending changes
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
