Engagement Specialist (ID#3358)

We are seeking an Engagement Specialist (stakeholder liaison) to help our client as the liaison between the Program team and business / clinical groups. You will perform a wide variety of tasks such as creating project collateral, communicating and scheduling impactful project activities (including downtime planning), contributing to executive level status reports, and providing administrative support where appropriate. This role will work closely with the Program Manager, Program Coordinators, Project Managers and other project team members to coordinate projects efficiently from inception to completion.

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the main point of contact for business/clinical stakeholders for impactful Cyber Modernization Program activities
  • Distill highly complex, technical concepts to simple relatable language and obtain buy-in from various stakeholder groups
  • Schedule and facilitate regular status meetings with stakeholders for readiness activities and change management for multiple simultaneous projects
  • Assist the program team with development of communications strategies and learning materials to help share important Program information
  • Support various communications teams in the development and implementation of communications plans
  • Facilitate a culture of open and honest communication
  • As a fully contributing member of a high performance team, support the planning and/or deployment of various initiative.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Engagement Specialist or similar roles with responsibility to liaise between a Program / Project team and the business stakeholders
  • Ability to distill highly complex concepts to simple relatable language and appeal to stakeholders interests in high quality clinical care
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Project management and change management knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to respond to the needs of stakeholders, supported by an acute awareness of the impact of actions
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated willingness to take initiative, be creative, and exercise sound judgement
  • Adherence to the highest ethical standards, demonstrating accountability, integrity and transparency in actions at all times
  • Demonstrated commitment to the value of continuous learning
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers and applicable computer software applications
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, set, accomplish and measure objectives and results
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to be tactful and diplomatic
