Application Support Business Analyst (ID#5102)


New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an Application Support Business Analyst with advanced experience in business analysis, process design, and solution delivery within enterprise technology environments. The Consultant will be responsible for gathering and documenting business and solution requirements, defining and analyzing business processes, coordinating data migration and integration efforts, developing test plans and quality assurance strategies, and supporting reporting and business intelligence initiatives for the platform and related digital services.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and record business and solution requirements.
- Define and analyze business processes and document business rules.
- Coordinate data migration and integration activities.
- Support reporting and business intelligence for the platform and related digital services.
- Develop test plans and implement quality assurance strategies.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure business needs are effectively communicated and addressed in technical solutions.
- Contribute to the organization’s multi-year initiative to modernize the program delivery, including system transitions and legacy decommissioning.
- Assist in the integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the ERP platform.
- Support financial-related processes such as invoice processing, disbursements, and ERP integrations.
- Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Responsible for creating documentation related to application support and operational processes.
- May participate in training business users and supporting change management or communications planning.
Requirements:
- Successful implementation of three Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems with customer engagement solutions; OR Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certification; OR at least 2 years of experience with Dynamics 365 customer engagement solutions.
- 10+ years of experience gathering, documenting, and analyzing business, stakeholder, and solution requirements for enterprise technology systems (including business process modeling and rule definition).
- 5+ years of experience supporting financial-related processes within enterprise systems (e.g., invoice processing, journal entries, ERP integrations).
- 5+ years conducting and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test plans, execution, defect tracking, and stakeholder sign-off.
- 5+ years developing/coordinating reporting solutions or BI dashboards using Dynamics CRM, Power BI, or SQL-based platforms.
- 10+ years documenting technical application support or user documentation for business systems.
- 5+ years working with social housing organizations or government-funded housing programs preferred.
- 10+ years developing and delivering training for business users of enterprise systems preferred.
- 10+ years experience designing/coordinating integrations between CRM and ERP/financial systems (including interface requirements and reconciliation) preferred.
- 5+ years coordinating or managing change management, stakeholder engagement, or communications for system implementations preferred.
- 10+ years facilitating meetings, workshops, or presentations with business and technical stakeholders across organizational levels preferred.
- ITIL Certification
