OpenPages & Cognos Consultant (ID#5134)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an OpenPages and Cognos consultant to work jointly with the Cybersecurity team to establish the processes, roadmap, and knowledge required to extend the OpenPages and Cognos platform’s capabilities across divisions. The goal is to ensure that each business unit can function autonomously within OpenPages, while still supporting and reporting on cohesive, organization-wide risk oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Lead or support the implementation of IBM OpenPages modules (Policy Management, Risk Management, Compliance, etc.)
• Configure OpenPages workflows, user roles, and data models to meet client requirements
• Develop and optimize Cognos reports and dashboards for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) analytics
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Provide strategic consulting on GRC best practices and OpenPages capabilities
• Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenPages and Cognos environments
• Participate in project planning, status reporting, and stakeholder communications

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with IBM OpenPages implementation and configuration
• Strong proficiency in IBM Cognos Analytics (report authoring, dashboarding, data modeling)
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise GRC solutions
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, energy, etc.) is a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a consulting team
• Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified OpenPages Professional, Cognos Analytics) preferred
