Instructional Designer (ID#5246)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an Instructional Designer to support the development of training content for the an upcoming solution implementation across multiple sites. This role is ideal for someone who blends clinical workflow knowledge, adult education expertise, and hands‑on e‑learning development experience using Adobe Captivate.

Responsibilities:

• Develop asynchronous online training modules for multiple clinical and non‑clinical audiences (nursing, allied health, clerks, ancillary staff, etc.).
• Create supporting materials such as instructor guides, clinical scenarios, quick reference guides, presentations, simulation scripts, and competency tools.
• Build and audit e‑learning content using Adobe Captivate (2019 release, 11.5.1.499).
• Collaborate with clinical SMEs to validate learning objectives and ensure alignment with real‑world workflows.
• Apply adult learning principles, clinical informatics best practices, and HIS adoption methodologies.
• Support the development of refresher learning paths for various stakeholder groups.
• Contribute to a structured knowledge transition to internal  resources.
• Develop a clear work plan and deliverables aligned with project timelines.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer / E-Learning Developer.
• Demonstrated experience developing online adult education content.
• Hands‑on experience with MEDITECH Expanse.
• Licensed copy of Adobe Captivate 2019 and strong proficiency in building interactive e‑learning.
• Deep understanding of clinical workflows in acute care environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and pivot quickly in a fast‑moving environment.
• Experience with MS 365 and Smartsheet.
• Experience in healthcare.
