Project Manager (ID#5120)


New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Project Manager to lead the refresh/implementation of the Perioperative Patient & Asset Tracking Solution (PPATS), Vocera Communications System, and TDOC in a newly renovated Surgical department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the procurement and installation of devices and equipment, application design, configuration and build, testing and deployment of the Clinical Workflow Suite, Real-Time Locating System, Vocera Communication System, and TDOC integration.
- Management of the budget and project resources and all project documentation.
- Lead the planning team, which will be comprised of staff and contracted technical team members.
- Provide project leadership and governance through project steering committee meetings.
- Work closely with all teams, the clients and the vendor to monitor and ensure the project accomplishes all goals and deliverables of the project on time and to budget.
- Develop and distribute regular project reporting to sponsors and stakeholders.
- Develop and drive project plans in alignment with defined methodologies and best practices, adapting to evolving requirements and risks.
- Cultivate strong business partners relationships through consistent communication, proactive issue resolution and clear expectation management.
- Provide effective leadership to cross-functional teams by fostering collaboration, resolving conflicts and optimizing team performance to ensure on-time delivery of project outcomes.
- Lead weekly project meetings and monthly Steering Committee sessions to ensure milestones deliverables are on-track and aligned with the budget and project objectives.
- Oversee quality assurance by reviewing deliverables, mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to established standards and project scope.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, track financials and approves invoices, capture lessons learned and deliver clear, actionable reporting to leadership for any escalations and decision-making.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
- Project Management experience with Health Care IT implementations.
- Experience with implementing the TeleTracking suite of products at a hospital, including the Capacity Management Suite, Clinical Workflow Suite, and Real-Time Locating System.
- Experience with implementing Vocera Communications System in a hospital-setting.
- Experience managing the technical services infrastructure.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science and/or Health Information Sciences.
