Transition Lead Consultant (ID#5033)


New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Transition Lead Consultant to oversee change management, communications, and training strategy for a large-scale transformation program. This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of future-state behaviors and delivery outcomes. This is a 12-month engagement, with on-site work in Richmond, BC three days a week (additional on-site time may be required with notice).
Responsibilities:
- Develop a people and culture strategy, including stakeholder analysis and tailored change management tactics
- Design and execute communication, learning, and change management plans to support behavior adoption
- Lead program-level transition and business change implementation with operations teams
- Provide both pre and post go-live support; design and operate go-live command center
- Collaborate with benefits measurement and operations teams to track metrics and adjust strategies
- Build and manage relationships across complex stakeholder environments
- Lead a team to develop deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Produce artifacts such as training schedules, communications plans, and change materials
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience leading enterprise-level change initiatives
- Proven ability to operate independently and lead or contribute within teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience navigating public sector, unionized stakeholder environments
- Prior experience in business transformation programs or projects
- Demonstrated stakeholder management expertise

- Familiarity with claims process from start to finish

The hourly rate range for this position is $70 – $90, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
