New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an Enterprise Architect to enhance capabilities in technology and services planning, strategy development, application and technology portfolio management, enterprise risk management, and technology governance, policies, and standards.

As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in developing business and IT strategies, architectural governance frameworks, long-term enterprise-level strategic plans, and management initiatives. You will work closely with the Director of Architecture and senior leadership, collaborating with other team members to achieve outcomes that align with our companies priorities and expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Multi-Year Capital and Operational Budget Planning: Including projections for total cost of ownership.
  • Business Capability Planning: Identifying and developing business capabilities.
  • Architectural Governance and Standards Development: Establishing and maintaining architectural standards.
  • Enterprise Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks at the enterprise level.
Requirements:
 
  • 6+ Years of Experience as an Enterprise Architect: Demonstrated experience in the role, showcasing a deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices.
  • Extensive Experience in North American Public Sector Organizations: Familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of public sector entities.
  • Architecture Practice Maturity: Proven ability to develop and mature architecture practices.
  • Application/Technology Portfolio Management: Expertise in managing and optimizing technology portfolios.
  • Business Capability Analysis, Development, and Management: Skilled in analyzing, developing, and managing business capabilities.
  • Business and Technology Services Planning, Design, and Orchestration: Proficient in planning, designing, and orchestrating business and technology services.
  • Enterprise Information and Technology Roadmap Alignment: Ensuring alignment between information and technology roadmaps.
  • Technical Governance Framework Design: Designing effective governance frameworks.
  • Facilitation with Business and IT Partners and Third-Party Vendors: Strong facilitation skills to work with various stakeholders.
