Software Tester (ID#4401)

We are looking for a skilled Software Tester to join our team, focusing on the thorough testing of both the front-end and back-end components of our web and mobile applications. This role requires a deep understanding of software testing methodologies and tools, as well as a proven ability to diagnose and rectify bugs, improve performance, and ensure high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases for web and mobile applications to identify software issues (bugs, errors, defects, etc.).
  • Analyze system specifications and collaborate with developers to understand the software’s design and underlying architecture.
  • Test both front-end elements and back-end services for functionality, performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Validate and document completion of testing and development processes.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation to track bugs and evaluations of system capabilities.
  • Conduct both automated and manual tests, including but not limited to unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure that the mobile applications perform well across all devices and meet all integration requirements with the web application.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end testing requirements.
  • Experience testing applications implemented in Azure Cloud or other Cloud providers.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C#, .NET, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and cross-platform compatibility.
  • Familiarity with testing backends using SQL language.
  • Proficiency with software testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, BrowserStack, Azure DevOps, and Appium is preferred.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps tool or similar cloud tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum is preferred.
