New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Business Analyst to deliver core BA services, project management, and change management. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, self-starter, and excels at building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving agreement on project approaches. Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in the full MS Office Suite and Visio is required.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver core Business Analysis (BA) services, Project Management, and Change Management initiatives.
  • Facilitate meetings both in person and virtually, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and maintain key project deliverables, including but not limited to:
    • Process maps
    • Project plans
    • Business change management plans
    • Presentations for steering committees
    • Risk and issue logs
    • Decision logs
    • Statements of work
  • Ensure all project documentation is created, managed, and maintained in alignment with best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs, define project scope, and implement solutions that drive organizational success.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in BA lead roles.
  • Proven ability to independently organize and prioritize a high-volume workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to anticipate, structure, and prioritize tasks to meet both short- and long-term goals.
  • Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently.
  • Ability to identify tasks, negotiate responsibilities, and coordinate efforts across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership in guiding teams and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Excellent listening, comprehension, and clarification skills to ensure accurate understanding of project needs.
  • Ability to prepare and present complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with teams, stakeholders, and diverse groups across various organizational levels.
  • Ability to adapt and remain effective in changing or challenging situations while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and patience.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business problems and design solutions using business process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in presentation and facilitation to drive discussions and decisions.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to assess challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to be customer-focused and service-oriented, ensuring stakeholder needs are met efficiently.
  • Experience in gathering and translating business and non-functional requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Visio to develop project deliverables.
  • Ability to effectively manage change across different stakeholder groups, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with business goals.
