New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an IT Support Technician to help our client with server, workstation, and network, management, and assist with other IT Managed Services for the operations requirements..
Responsibilities:
- Server, Workstation, and Network Management, including, but not limited to:
- Monitoring and Alerting
- Windows Patch Management
- Backup Management
- Security Management
- Firmware Updates
- Quarterly Maintenance
- Password Management
- Assist with Operations Management including but not limited to
- Software and Applications
- General IT Security / Privacy
- Data / Information Management
- Print Management
- Telephony Management
- IT Operations
- Infrastructure Services
- Service Desk, including virtual assistance and on-premises support
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience providing IT Support and Administration services to a diverse environment
- Experience with Server, backup, and patch management and maintenance
- Experience with desktop support and maintenance
- Experience with network support and maintenance
- Ability to provide remote / virtual assistance and on-premise support if required
- Experience with Print management
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Experience in a public sector environment beneficial
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
