Project Manager ERP (ID#4856)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an experienced consultant to provide project management services for the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial system.  The consultant will oversee the successful transition of the current financial system – Central Square’s Diamond and Worktech Pearl to a modern, scalable ERP solution.  The individual must have demonstrated experience in ERP implementation to guide the transition, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and best practices.   This is a 5 year contract and both remote and on-site (Red Deer County, Alberta) work is required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a detailed project plan and timeline
• Manage project risks, issues and mitigation strategies
• Ensure project stays on schedule and within budget
• Participate and support in vendor demonstrations and final ERP selection
• Provide regular status updates and reports to the client
• Facilitate training and change management activities

Requirements:

• Proven project management experience in ERP transition and implementation
• Strong project management skills and minimum 5 years PM experience
• Experience and understanding of ERP financial systems and their modules (Finance, Capital Assets, Payroll, Inventory Management, etc.).
• Ability to work remotely and on-site throughout the project at client locations in Red Deer County
• Change management experience
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft technology environment
