Technical Analyst (ID#4836)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Technical Analyst with strong mobile device experience, to support development and implementation of functional technology solutions on managed mobile end point devices (i.e. Smartphones, Tablets, etc.) in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

• Accountable for driving towards an effective technical solution that meets the needs of the business and in the process driving all technical issues through to closure.
• Coordinate with internal operational support and project teams, assist the Mobility Architect, and implement planned migrations by business area or business case.
• Coordinate with Mobility Program and internal stakeholders on future implementation of planned pager retirement solution on MDM-enrolled smartphones.
• Technical liaison with Mobility Services Operational technical lead.
• Assist all business partners, including vendors with the analysis of changes to functional requirements and support as needed.

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Analyst.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Mobile Device Management software platforms and mobile application deployment.
• Demonstrates a passion for mobile end point devices, ensuring successful deployment, sustainment and excellent end user experience.
• Senior level proficiency with iOS / Android platforms in a large, enterprise environment.
• Accreditation or significant training and understanding of Active Directory infrastructure and enterprise productivity products (i.e. O365, email clients, etc.).
• Previous experience working with IT Security and Privacy teams, ensuring compliance to the security requirements and privacy policies.
• Experience with technical integrations that involve data mapping and  data transformations.
• Experience working with Health Authority infrastructure.
• Computer Science / Engineering / Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated capability in handling sensitive and challenging situations.
• Demonstrated capability to work with Senior Management team and Executives.
• Excellent technical analysis and development skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to attend worksite in Burnaby as required to perform work duties.
• Must be Customer and Service-focused in approach.

The hourly rate range for this position is $55 – $75, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
